Corporate Head of HSE Culture, Communication & Training at Saipem & General Secretary at LHS Foundation



More than 14 years of experience in Saipem company. Immediately after joining the Company I was tasked to contribute to the development of an internal Cultural Change program. After one year of research and development the LiHS program (Leadership in Health & Safety) was launched globally in 2007 under my coordination.

I grew the team to support the implementation and further development of tools, strategies and communication initiatives on support. I worked with Saipem leaders and project teams in all continents, delivering more than 300 workshops and several trainer sessions. I report to the HSE Director and the program entered its 11th year of life following three major organizational and management changes, with every CEO personally committing to the initiative. In 2011 I created a business line to sell the LiHS program externally.

Today my department is fully sustained by the margins generated by these activities. I work directly closely with the senior leaders of the several organizations that have implemented LiHS under my consultancy, including Eni, ThyseenKrupp Italia, Tenova, Tenaris, Vroon, Perenco, A2A, Prysmian, Salini Impregilo, Repsol and many more with requests that are growing also thanks to the exposure of the LHS Foundation.
